Foreign companies conducting commercial, financial, industrial or contracting activities in Egypt must register their office in the Commercial Register.
Foreign branch must also be registered in a centralised register of foreign companies at the Commercial Companies Department.
Branch offices must have a certain percentage of Egyptian nationalities.
At least 10% of the company’s net profits must be distributed to the employees, and up to a maximum of the total annual payroll.
