5.6 Representative Office
- According to the Commercial Companies Law, foreign companies may establish a “representation, liaison, scientific, or other office as long as the sole purpose of such office is to carry out market surveys or to study the feasibility of production without carrying on any commercial activity including the activities of a commercial agent”. The representative office must be registered in the Register of the Foreign Representative Offices.
